Day Zero – Sound Of The Mayan Spirit
Damian Lazarus, the infamous for his idiosyncratic nature, Crosstown Rebels spearhead embarks on a daring new project with Day Zero. On the 20th and 21st of December, 2012, he will be staging a festival in sun-soaked Playa del Carmen, Mexico, that will celebrate the momentous end of this world cycle, as decreed by the ancient Mayan civilization.
To commemorate this enigmatic event he asked thirteen artists to create a new track for a special Day Zero compilation. His peers and comrades stepped up to the challenge by contributing to this momentous collection compiled by Damian Lazarus.
Ο Damian Lazarus, στην πρώτη γραμμή της Crosstown Rebels και περιβόητος για την ιδιότυπη φύση του, αναλαμβάνει το νέο τολμηρό Day Zero project. Την 20ή και 21η Δεκεμβρίου στήνει ένα φεστιβάλ στην ηλιόλουστη Playa del Carmen στο Μεξικό, για το κλείσιμο ενός σπουδαίου κύκλου για τον κόσμο έτσι όπως περιγράφεται από τον αρχαίο πολιτισμό των Μάγια.
Για να «τιμήσει» αυτό το αινιγματικό event, ζήτησε από δεκατρείς καλλιτέχνες να δώσουν από ένα νέο κομμάτι για μια special Day Zero συλλογή. Οι φίλοι και συνάδελφοί του ανταποκρίθηκαν στην πρόκληση συνεισφέροντας στη σημαντική αυτή συλλογή, με επιμέλεια από τον ίδιο το Damien Lazarus.
